Meetings Week 2010

The Meetings Industry Council of Colorado (MIC) is excited to announce a new week long line-up to coincide with the 10th Anniversary of the MIC Education Conference and Tradeshow. In an effort to provide more ROI for our supplier partners, we have expanded this one day conference to include numerous special events throughout the week.

The MIC Annual Conference is the Rocky Mountain Region’s premier event for the meeting planning community. As such, MIC attracts local as well as national planners and suppliers. For their support we would like to reward our suppler partners by providing more time to visit with this captured audience.

In 2010, there will be additional days available to network with planners and invite potential customers to promotional events sponsored by your company. Scroll down to see the full schedule for the week.

Meetings Week events will be promoted through this website, advance Conference promotional materials to over 3000 industry members and throughout the day of the Conference. The planning and logistics of each ancillary event would be the responsibility of the organization sponsoring the event.

We hope you take advantage of this opportunity and assist us in building what is sure to become an annual tradition.

Supplier Partner Sponsored Events
MIC would like for suppliers to sponsor industry events on their own, possibly breakfasts, luncheons or receptions (post MIC VIP Reception, 5-7pm) to get your customers together for special presentations or promotions.

• MIC would promote events on the MIC website under the Meetings Week tab; however, logistics of each event would be the responsibility of the partner. There will be a check box on the MIC Sponsor registration form for you to let us know if you are doing something and space to let us know about the details of your event.
• Participating sponsors will get their event listed with their contact, web site, email and phone number for additional information
• Suppliers are to solicit meeting planners/attendees on their own

MIC VIP Reception – 5 to 7 pm (open to sponsors and invited guests only) @ Coors Field

**MIC Exhibitor Move-In – Tuesday, March 16 from 2-8 pm and Wednesday, March 17 from 8-11am

Supplier Partner Sponsored Events – Additional Opportunity
MIC would like for suppliers to sponsor events as listed above, possible meal functions or the like to get your customers together for special presentations, promotions or a fun activity. Thursday’s events would be handled in the same manner as Tuesday’s Supplier Partner Sponsored Events.

Friday, March 19, 2010
Venue Open Houses throughout the Metro Area from 9 am to 4 pm
MIC would like to enlist non traditional event facilities to hold Open Houses to promote their venue to planners not familiar with their space and offerings.

• MIC would promote the day on the MIC website, throughout the conference and corresponding promotional materials
• Participating venues will get their venue listed with their contact, web site, email and phone number for additional information
• Venues are asked to solicit meeting and event planners/attendees on their own
